Deadline to submit nitrates derogation applications extended
Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue said that in light of continued challenging weather conditions, he is "conscious of the pressures on farmers and on their advisors to provide the necessary supports during this time".Â
An extension to the deadline to submit nitrates derogation applications for 2024 has been announced.
Dairy farmers now have until Friday, April 26, to submit an application.
