According to the Department of Agriculture, many of Ireland’s native woodlands have been under-managed. 
Native Woodland Conservation Scheme launched

This scheme aims to provide support to woodland owners to tackle under-management and to promote the sustainability of forest and woodland habitats through appropriate restoration measures.

The Native Woodland Conservation Scheme has been launched to support the restoration, conservation, and enhancement of existing native woodlands.

According to the Department of Agriculture, many of Ireland’s native woodlands have been under-managed.
