Co-founder of Farmers' Alliance walks away from group

West Cork farmer Helen O'Sullivan has this week announced her resignation from the Farmers' Alliance party.
In August of 2023, sick of being tarnished as “environmental terrorists”, Ms O'Sullivan, a suckler and drystock farmer based in West Cork, told the  of how she intended to run for the new farmer-led political party that she had co-founded in upcoming elections.
