West Cork farmer Helen O'Sullivan has this week announced her resignation from the Farmers' Alliance party.

In August of 2023, sick of being tarnished as “environmental terrorists”, Ms O'Sullivan, a suckler and drystock farmer based in West Cork, told the Irish Examiner of how she intended to run for the new farmer-led political party that she had co-founded in upcoming elections.
