Payments under crisis fund issuing to horticultural growers

Eligible applicants are in sectors including brown mushroom, heated strawberry, field vegetable, field salad crop, apple, vertical farmed greens, and glasshouse high wire crop.

Payments under the Horticulture Crisis Fund are now issuing to eligible applicants.

The fund, allocated under the EU agricultural reserve, is a support measure worth €2.38m, provided in the form of a once-off payment to horticultural growers most affected by the continued high level of input costs.
