Investment aid scheme opens for horticulture sector

This year has been "particularly challenging for growers, with incomes hit by high input costs and difficult weather conditions".

The scheme, with a budget of €10m, is intended to assist in the development of the horticulture sector, by grant-aiding capital investments in specialised plant and equipment as well as technology adoption.
