€3,900 top price at Munster Angus Breeders Autumn Sale

Buoyant trade saw a top price of €3,900 at the Munster Angus Breeders Autumn Sale, with buyers from as far as Leitrim & Kildare

Taking place at Kilmallock Mart on Saturday November 4, the event had an overall clearance of 70%, with an average sale price of just under €2,500, and prices in excess of €3,000 achieved for six animals. Four and five star in-calf heifers averaged €2,850, with maiden heifers averaging €2,400, and bulls €2,700.
