There are indications of the 'Christmas boost' in the trade for finished cattle at the factories this week, which is making its way into a slightly harder tone to the prices on offer from the processors.
Despite another strong intake for last week at 40,458 head, which topped the same week last year by 500, setting a year-to-date high, demand continues very strong.
