Further extension to slurry spreading period

Minister for Agriculture Charlie McConalogue said that it is fundamental that slurry is applied under the right conditions and at the right time of year, given the need to deliver on commitments to improving water quality.

The slurry spreading period has been further extended by seven days.

The closed period will now commence on October 15.
