Subdued lamb export markets freeze prices

According to Bord Bia, key export markets for lamb continue to be subdued, with reaction to inflation and imports from outside of the EU impacting demand.

The lamb trade at the factories is 'steady as it goes' with no change in the quoted prices for the week in a continuation of the similarity of recent weeks.

The lamb quotes are ranging 600-620c/kg plus the usual bonus for quality of 10-20c/kg, depending on the terms at the particular factory.
