'Exceptional' lifetime of service to mart honoured with prestigious award

An exceptional, lifelong contribution to the Irish co-operative movement has been recognised nationally with the co-operative industry’s highest national honour - The Plunkett Award for Co-operative Endeavour.
The honour, named after Sir Horace Plunkett who founded the Irish Co-operative Organisation Society, was awarded to Clement (Clem) McAuliffe of Golden Vale Mart in a special ceremony on Tuesday (March 29).
