The last month was frustrating for many. Lots of grass grew over the winter, but farmers didn’t any decent run at grazing in February and March, due to unpredictable weather. The main burst of calving has settled down on many farms, now the focus has shifted to milk production and getting cows back in calf.

The main burst of calving has settled down on many farms, now the focus has shifted to milk production and getting cows back in calf.

A lot of farmers have had some fantastic calving results, with minimal intervention and no metabolic issues.
