Minister for Agriculture, Michael Creed, said a further Irish beef plant has been approved by the Chinese authorities and listed by GACC, the Chinese General Administration of Customs.

This brings to 12 the number of Irish meat plants approved for export to China, seven beef plants and five pigmeat plants, all since China reopened its beef market to Ireland in 2018.
