Event to highlight farm vehicle rules

Gardaí will use a weighbridge to highlight the trailer towing capacity of jeeps and other vehicles, at today’s event on Revised Standards for Agricultural Vehicles and Farm Safety, organised at Macroom Mart by Cork IFA, in conjunction with An Garda Síochána, the HSA, the Fire Service, and Cork Rapid Response. The event starts at 11am and continues to 1.30pm.

All are welcome to attend, and they can also learn about the required lights, markings, and axles for tractor trailers and other equipment using the public roads.
