If you fly southwards from Oslo Airport in Norway, you might eventually pass over the fields in Spain where your jet fuel comes from.

The airport at Gardermoen is taking part in the first commercial supply of sustainable bio jet fuel, which includes fuel made from camelina crops grown mostly in Spain (and on smaller plantations in Romania).
