Dairy farmers in New Zealand fear a purge of migrant workers due to their government’s planned immigration changes.

It is proposed that migrant workers paid less than NZ$49,000 (€31,000) be allowed a three-year visa; they would then have to leave New Zealand for at least 12 months.
