25,300 Co Cork premises to get Eir broadband

Rollout by the Eir telecommunications company of broadband to an additional 300,000 premises in rural areas includes over 25,300 premises in Co Cork, according to Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment Denis Naughten.

He said this will leave over 192,500 of the 267,361 premises in Co Cork able to access a high-speed broadband service through commercial providers by the end of 2018.
