Farmers in the South-West have taken up the largest share of the €150m cheap loan scheme which was launched by Agriculture Minister Michael Creed at the end of January.

Farmers in the South-West have taken up the largest share of the €150m cheap loan scheme which was launched by Agriculture Minister Michael Creed at the end of January.

The scheme is distributed and administered through AIB, Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank, and the three banks say that all of the €150m is committed, and is being drawn down.
