Tillage farmers interested in the tillage TAMS grant scheme have been advised to plan carefully to ensure the best long term results for their farm enterprise.

IFA grain committee chairman Liam Dunne said a number of issues relating to the scheme were clarified or altered during a recent meeting with the Department of Agriculture.
