Glanbia shareholders to vote on proposed sale in May

Glanbia plc’s proposed sale of 60% of Dairy Ireland to Glanbia Co-op, to create a joint venture called Glanbia Ireland, has progressed, with a binding legal agreement signed by the parties, clearing the way for co-op shareholders to vote on proposals on Thursday, May 18.

Glanbia plc’s proposed sale of 60% of Dairy Ireland to Glanbia Co-op, to create a joint venture called Glanbia Ireland, has progressed, with a binding legal agreement signed by the parties, clearing the way for co-op shareholders to vote on proposals on Thursday, May 18.

All the proposals have the unanimous support of the Board and Council of Glanbia Co-op. A simple majority vote on May 18 is needed to create Glanbia Ireland.
