Oliver Moore: Certification bodies in Oireachtas talks

It was the turn of the OCBs — the Organic Certification Bodies — to appear at the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Agriculture recently.

There was much discussed, including the following two areas: could Bord Bia take on some organic certification activities; is it the case that the Irish organic sector is being hindered by its higher standards, especially when compared to Austria?
