€1.5m Sought for Rare 140-acre Prize at Ballygiblin House
Once part of a 20,000-acre estate, Ballygiblin House near Mallow was originally owned by the Wrixon-Beecher family that came over here in Stuart times and lived in the house until 1935.
It was under the next owner — Jack Lombard — that Ballygiblin became associated with the racing world, becoming a household name in equestrian circles for over 20 years.
