Advice for beef farmers: Grass, prepare for take-off

Grass growth takes off when air and soil temperatures rise. Temperatures are hovering around the magical 10 degrees, and rising daily.

Growth has improved, because most paddocks had plenty of nitrogen and/or slurry applied earlier.

For those on heavier ground, the current dry spell is allowing fertiliser application at last.
