Worst weather and worst cattle prices are in the west

While the supply of cattle to the factories continues to increase week-on-week, the prices paid have been maintained unchanged from last week.

The general base price being quoted at the factories this week remained at 370 cents/kg for steers, across most of the country.

The exception is the western counties, where some farmers are being quoted 365 cents/kg.
