Bord Bia lamb promotion gets under way
The campaign will focus on highlighting the unique flavour and versatility of the range of lamb cuts, and encouraging shoppers to look for the Quality Mark on lamb packs.
The campaign includes extended TV coverage through Video on Demand, with the TV advertisement featuring Lochlann O’Mearain explaining why lamb tastes so good being aired for six weeks, to coincide with the lamb season in June and July and then again in late August/ early September.
The summer promotion also aims to increase consumer awareness of the importance of European lamb production, and to drive awareness of lamb as a versatile daily-use meat across key markets, including Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, England, France and Germany.
Digital and social media, and an extensive public relations campaign including promotion on TodayFM and recipe advertorials, plus the www.lambtastyeasyfun.eu campaign website will be rolled out.
