Beef exports to the UK down 7.5% this year

Irish beef exports to the UK in January and February were 7.5% lower this year than last year.

Shipments fell from 29,016 tonnes of Irish-origin beef to 26,841 tonnes.

The total volume of beef imported by the UK for the first two months fell 4%.
