Ingredient prices broadly in line with barley, soya

Current values of most feed ingredients are in line with the values of barley and soya, according to Teagasc beef farming advisors.

Soya hulls cost only €160, but they are “a good fibre source” and are valued at €195/tonne.

On the other hand, advisors said, rapeseed meal and beet pulp were slightly overpriced in the current market (€280 and €215/t, respectively).
