Teagasc income review proves no two farming years are the same

Dairy picking up and beef falling back are the main 2016 income predictions in Teagasc’s recently published “Outlook for 2016 — Economic Prospects for Agriculture”.

This annual review looks back to 2014, assesses the performance of farming in 2015, and projects an outcome for 2016.

On 2015, the report summarises that the mixed world economic picture — and particularly, the concern about growth prospects in some emerging economies — is dampening demand.
