Finding the right tools for dairy farmers to handle cash-flow woes

Following the abolition of milk quotas earlier this year, the Irish dairy industry is in a unique position due to its pasture-based milk production system.

Ireland can now exploit its competitive advantage by building on its natural and environmentally sustainable production model.

There will, however, be challenges, especially in terms of milk price volatility and the requirement for additional investment in farm infrastructure to facilitate expansion.
