My father passed away this year and we are in the process of administering his estate.

He was farming and there was a small portion of the farmland that has always as far as I remember been in our family, but which is still registered in my great grandmother’s name.

My father inherited the farm from my grandfather. My grandfather, as I understand, was passed the farmlands by my grandparents. I am anxious to rectify ownership. What should I do to protect the land?
