Teagasc reveals outreach plan in FH2025 proposal

The aim of this proposed technology outreach service to rural based agri-professionals is that a consistent message is given to farmers in relation to technological and management practice adoption.

Farmers work with a variety of rural-based professionals from agricultural advisors through vets, accountants, solicitors, co-ops etc. In order to deliver productivity gains in Irish agriculture, and minimise conflict in messages delivered to clients, Teagasc chiefs believe it is important to ensure they are aware of Teagasc views on the suitable technologies to be adopted at farm level.
