Nearly 10,000 farm payments cut in 2014

Deductions and sanctions were applied to nearly 10,000 payments in the 2014 Single Farm Payment and Disadvantaged Area Schemes.

The Single Farm Payments of 3,867 farmers and the Disadvantaged payments of 5,974 farmers were affected.

In Co Cork, deductions totalled €475,259 from the Single Farm Payments of 455 farmers, and €97,874 from the Disadvantaged payments of 477 farmers.
