Coveney upbeat about beef sector’s prospects despite price concerns

The medium-and long-term outlook for the beef sector is very strong across Europe and in new markets such as Asia and the Middle East. 

That was the assessment of Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney in an interview on RTE’s Morning Ireland.

Mr Coveney said in the short-term he believed that there would be a reduction in supply next year.
