Irish MEPs must use new power to fight for farmers

Farm families will vote in the European elections in three weeks’ time.

Ireland will return 11 MEPs to the next Parliament, which will have more wide-reaching powers.

Ironically, just as Ireland loses one of its representatives, those who are elected will have a greater influence on EU policy and legislation. This will be important for agriculture as the impact of the CAP Reform is felt.
