Another year brings new challenges for the cattle farmer

As with every year, 2014 brings its own challenges.

On my travels around the country I have begun to see more and more mould or spoilage in pits of grass silage, maize and whole crop.

This issue, in my opinion, has been brought about by over wilting and delayed harvesting of crops.
