Maintaining sustainable beef production requires effort from all

Developing and maintaining sustainable beef production systems requires effort on all parts of the supply chain, not just at farm level, European Parliament member Mairead McGuinness has said.

Ms McGuinness, a member of the European Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture, was making a keynote address at a Brussels conference organised by Forum Europe with McDonald’s.

She praised McDonald’s for its consistent work on sustainability and commitment to producers who meet their requirements.
