It’s a good idea to build on Ireland’s world leading cattle breeding genomics research, by launching a new beef genomics scheme which also promises €40 per suckler calf — for about half of the annual calf crop, initially at least.

It’s certainly good news for the Irish Cattle Breeding Federation, who are running with the genomics research breakthroughs made by Teagasc.
