Farmers are urged to act early to counteract future fodder shortage

Farmers need to act early to deal with any fodder shortage in the year ahead, according to Agriculture, Food and Marine Minister Simon Coveney.

He said that was the clear message in a presentation made to him by the Inter Agency Fodder Committee.

The briefing was a key point on the agenda for a meeting of the Food Harvest High Level Implementation Committee which the minister chairs.
