Full picture of pasture damage still emerging

Unfortunately, the carry-over effects of the terrible 2012 weather will not end with an expensive and difficult winter feeding season.

Even with the very best attention, it is unlikely all animals will be in as good condition as they would be after a more normal winter feeding season.

Some of the worst carry-over effects will be from damage to grassland, especially on heavier soils.
