Genomically selected bulls are more reliable than young test bulls but less reliable than older proven bulls.

The increase in reliability of a genomic proof over parent average is 10-25%.

Genomic Selection uses information from the animal’s DNA to supplement pedigree information so as to increase the reliability of the EBI (and individual traits) for the animals tested.
