Recovery plan is critical this year when housing cattle

Many farms will be housing cattle over the coming weeks around the country.

It is well accepted at this stage that the bad summer of 2012 has resulted in cattle being up to 50kg lighter than similar aged stock were 12 months ago, at housing.

Many critical decisions will need to be made in order to make up some of the lost ground.
