Weather worsens dilemma on winter feed costs

The rain is hammering down outside my window. This year just seems to rage on and on.

The weather has taken its toll on most farms at this stage. We are also experiencing much colder conditions, and grass growth has halted for most.

The combination of wet and cold will hasten the start of winter feeding on many beef farms.
