As we can see from farm reports this is not a great problem in dry land areas, but it is very difficult in heavy and wet land areas, on where over one third of our milk is normally produced.

Despite good management, a lot of damage has been done to pastures, winter feed is very scarce and a lot of animals are well behind target weight and condition. All of these situations should be rectified as soon as possible.
