Extra early grazing day raises profit €3 per cow a day

Grazed grass is the best and cheapest feed.

The target set by most top farmers is to produce 85% to 90% of milk from grass (including grass silage) at a stocking rate of one cow per acre producing 1,200 to 1,400 gallons of good quality milk each. This is almost double the present production level per hectare on the average dairy farm.
