Milk expansion in Ireland — too big, too fast

It’s important to be ready for expansion after 2015.

MANY people, some in influential situations, seem to be forgetting that we will have milk quotas until the end of March 2015. This will limit production for three full seasons as well as in part of 2015.

Indeed with all the turbulence in the EU and the opposition from some countries to expansion, it is not 100% certain that there will be a free-for-all expansion in milk production after 2015.
