ISPCA warns animals will die of neglect

MANY horses, ponies, donkeys and foals will starve and die this winter due to neglect, according to the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA).

The Society has launched a ‘hay drive’, urgently asking people to donate €3 to help fill the ISPCA hay barn. They say €3 will buy a bale of hay and feed an abandoned horse for a day. People can donate via the www.ispca.ie website or by texting the word Hay to 57802.
