PIG farmers have spoken out against this week’s 2-4c/kg price cut.

According to IFA, it leaves the big export plants mostly quoting 150 to 154 cent/kg this week, plus a 2 to 6 cent welfare bonus.

Pork slaughterers continue to quote from 150 to 156 cent/kg. Sow prices are at 80 to 100c/kg deadweight.
