I can’t sleep — let me expand...

I DIDN’T sleep a wink last night, nor the night before, and it’s all the fault of Macra na Feirme.

The organisation, formed to steer the youngsters of rural Ireland on the right path, launched another one of their surveys recently, and the results made for grim reading.

It’s this Macra survey that has my night’s sleep all but ruined. The organisation asked young farmers for their attitudes towards a whole range of subjects — everything from homosexuality to the presidential election. All fine with a man of the world like me.
