PUTTING money in land banks, rather that the other variety, is the pitch taken on a land sale at Kilnatoora, Youghal, by auctioneer Davie Keane.

The property agent David Keane is selling some 78 acres of planted land, with a mix of evergreen and deciduous trees and he says the property is bringing in an income of €15,000 per annum for farmers.

The property, which is located just three miles from Youghal in East Cork, also comes complete with full current planning permission for a 3,800 square foot bungalow and the agent is looking for offers of €400,000 on the entire sale.
