773 applicants had no single payment cheque up to last week

NO single payment cheque had yet been received by 773 applicants a week ago.

There were more than 123,000 applications for the single payment scheme and 102,000 for the disadvantaged areas scheme.

It is expected that more than 70,000 require digitising of some or all of the land parcels submitted, compared to an average of 22,000 in previous years.
