THE 2020 Committee recognises that farmers and fishermen have taken the brunt of a dramatic fall in returns, due to the effects of currency fluctuations and a recessionary trading environment in our key food and drink export markets.

Farmers need to expand, and improve productivity and marketing, said the committee.
